    Meredith Bowers, senior, donates blood for the second time this year. WLHS students and staff gave 99 units of blood total, potentially saving up to 297 lives.

    Students at WLHS gathered Saturday night on the football field to mourn the loss of their classmates Cooper Hill and Antonio Caballero, juniors. Sadie Hawkins was cancelled shortly after the news of the accident. Currently no plans are being made to reschedule the dance.

    The West Linn Boys Varsity Basketball team (19-4, 12-1 Three Rivers League) defeated Tigard (12-11, 5-8 TRL) 55-53. The Lions followed up the JV team, which won its game by 31 points.     Jack Draney and Jillian Emken, juniors, Green & Gold editors-in-chief, work on proofs for the 2014-2015 yearbook. Last year the book won an All-American award and the staff is looking to do the same again this year.

    Antonio Caballero and Cooper Hill, juniors, were killed in a fatal crash Saturday. Caballero played Intramurals Basketball while Hill played for the Varsity Lacrosse team.
